Nick De Voil
Nick De Voil is the founder and managing director of De Voil Consulting.
Nick de Voil

Born in 1962, he has been an information systems professional since 1985.

After early experience and training with systems integrator CAP, investment bank Drexel Burnham Lambert and management consultancy KPMG, he founded the firm in 1990.

Since then he has worked with a wide range of clients, including Bankers Trust, BT Ignite, Cambridge University, Chrysalis Radio, Commerzbank, the London Clearing House, Nomura, Paribas, Price Waterhouse, the RFID Centre, Royal Bank of Scotland, Sky Television, The British Library, The Housing Corporation and Yamaichi International.

His speaking engagements in the UK and abroad have covered topics in IT programme management, content management, business process management, user experience and business analysis. He has been published in the Cutter IT Journal and is a contributor to the book Business Analysis and Leadership.

He is a Certified Management Consultant and a full Member of the Institute of Consulting.

He holds the NASD Series 7 qualification for General Securities Registered Representatives.

He also holds ISEB certificates in Structured Systems Analysis and Software Testing, as well as a City & Guilds certificate in Further Education teaching. He is a Professional Member of BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.

Nick De Voil holds a First Class (with Distinction) BA Honours degree from the University of Birmingham,
and an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomics from UCLIC, the UCL Interaction Centre.
